Right now we’re in a time of intense transition, where change is happening whether we’ve asked for it or not. Whether you’re purposefully making changes or they seem to be happening on your own, using this 5-step strategy that I’ve always used for dealing with change can help you get through it with a lot more grace and ease.

Highlights:

  • Before you can start using the 5 steps of this strategy, sometimes there’s a Step 0: Doing Nothing. It might be that your own initial resistance to the change is so strong that you aren’t ready to take action. Or it might be that your spiritual team needs to arrange some things for you before you can move forward.
  • Step 1: Acknowledge that you’re in the midst of change. Remember that change is messy. Stuff has to move around before it can settle into the perfect place.
  • Step 2: Accept the emotions that come up. You’ve set an intention for change because you want something you don’t have. The reality is, you don’t already have it because you have emotional resistance that keeps you from receiving it automatically. When those emotions arise in the process of getting them out of your way, acknowledge them. Own how you feel. Name it. But don’t indulge in it.
  • Step 3: Get help, and receive the help that shows up automatically. Don’t go it alone. The resources that you need in order to create change will automatically be attracted to you, including people and angels to guide you. Also, let people know how they can support you, whether emotionally or through action. This might include working with a healer to release the emotions that come up.
  • Step 4: Keep moving forward. Look for opportunities to take action, no matter how big or small. But make sure it’s inspired action. Don’t force it; the right steps toward your goal will unravel with ease, especially if you release the emotional blocks.
  • Step 5: Celebrate successes. This perpetuates the process of ongoing change.

  1. Hi Christina. Great video message and congratulations on your new space. I thought all of the steps you talked about were spot on; however, the one that resonated the most with me was Step 0. I tend to be action oriented. Doing nothing is sometimes a challenge for me, but that is sometimes what I need the most since when we do nothing we often process and discover. I am finding that for me, “doing nothing” accomplishes a lot. It helps make the next steps flow more smoothly. Thanks again
