That’s not just woo-woo fluff – it’s a scientific fact. The formal name for it is homeostasis, meaning that your body is always working to bring itself back into balance.

To achieve this balance, your body has all sorts of signals it gives you to let you know when it needs something it doesn’t have. Aches, pains, and cravings are common examples of those signals.

The catch is, you’ve probably been taught to disregard or numb out those signals – even blame or shame yourself for them. (Sugar cravings, anyone?)
