Invoke the Power of Relationships

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about the shift of energies here on Earth. Yes, they’re still shifting – that will always be true. Here we are, a little more than seven months past the pivotal moment of 12/21/12; it’s a great time to look at what’s changed.

That moment last December opened portals to the Divine Feminine that have been expanding in the
months since, and will continue to expand. Ultimately this will bring us, individually and collectively, into a balance between masculine and feminine. In the meantime our attention might land more on the feminine aspects, simply because that’s where the noticeable change is.

I’m curious if you’ve experienced any of the same changes as I have that are evidence of us connecting more with the Divine Feminine:

Honoring of intuition and energy. Over the last 2-3 months, I have noticed more people not
only talking about energy but offering it as the solution to problems. Within myself I’ve opened up
more to energy being the solution to any problem; rather than having to “figure things out,” I
simply have to clear my energy and let the power of intention do its work to bring solutions into
my lap.

Favoring connection over isolation. Have you noticed the theme of “relationships” in your
surroundings? The most notable example is the 21-Day Meditation Challenge being offered by
Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey that’s focused completely on creating harmonious
relationships.

Meanwhile, I’ve noticed an inclination to get out and spend more time with people. As anpaper people with hears team entrepreneur who works at home, I’m surprisingly no longer content to sit alone at home. I’m
networking more, whether it’s one-one-one, joining meetings, or gathering small groups of my
own. (Three seems to be my magic number lately.)

Throughout history, people found their connection to Spirit in communities. All of the great
spiritual teachers were members of communes or other spiritual communities. That’s no
coincidence.

Choosing collaboration over independence. Where I previously would have said, “I can do this
on my own,” I find myself naturally preferring to work with others now. The recent guest posts are
a good example of that, but the best example came at last month’s retreat with my coach in
Asheville. It was time to decide whether to sign up for another year, and after rationalizing the
cost of the program in money and time, I stopped and asked myself, “Yeah, but what do I want to
do?” To my surprise, despite any rational arguments to leave, my true desire was to stay in the
program, continuing to share space not only with my coach but with all of the wonderful people
she attracts. And in contrast to all of the reasons that my mind could give why I shouldn’t renew,
including “After a year I know this stuff,” my heart knew that I’d produce more – and grow more – in
the next year by being part of that group than by saving the time and money that participation
would require.

If this is the direction that we’re headed in, then the smartest thing that any of us could do is jump on and
ride the wave. Here are some mindset shifts that you can make to help yourself get into the flow of
working with the Divine Feminine:

  1.  Honor your intuition. If you want to expand your intuition, you need to acknowledge what you already have. Less second-guessing, more trust. I used to treat it like a game, saying yes to every intuitive hit that I got, excited to see where it would lead me next. It was great practice in discerning intuition from mental thought.
  2. Find – or form – your community. Relationships and connection are where it’s at. Think of a community as a permanently shared energetic connection. Don’t have a community yet? Choose one or two good friends and get together regularly to share your goals and intentions with each other. It’ll be both fun and productive.
  3. Accept help, whether it’s from other humans or from Spirit. Once you find your community, let it support you. Invest in coaching and other support, because when you open to receive support you also open to receive the manifestation of your goals.

Your turn

Your turn to share!

I’d love to hear from you: What shifts toward the Divine Feminine have you observed in yourself and your surroundings? Are you noticing a stronger role of community and connection in your life?
