Spiritual Selfishness: A Technique for Feeling Good, Instantly

By Christina Ammerman

May 26, 2014

We’ve talked a lot lately about reaching for a higher vibration, and I’ve suggested that it’s how you handle the day-to-day things that not only reflects your current vibrational setpoint, but also impacts how fast and how easily you continue to evolve.

How you feel also impacts whether you’re attracting or repelling wealth and prosperity.

And let’s face it: feeling good just feels good!

So what can you do when the day-to-day stuff keeps getting in your way?

Three things –

1. Acknowledge that every single circumstance that comes up in your life is something you attracted through your energy patterns, which are 95% influenced by your subconscious mind.

2. Recognize the power in that – that by changing your energy field you can instantaneously change what you’re attracting.

3. Do something to change your energy field.

Today’s post is all about #3. I’m sharing with you a simple energy technique that I use when I need to raise myself out of some icky feelings. It’s a visualization that I learned through Integrated Energy Therapy training that encourages spiritual selfishness.

Spiritual selfishness is the idea of filling the proverbial well first so that then you have something to give to others. With this technique I’m showing you, you literally fill yourself up with light to change your vibrational setpoint.

It’s very simple. Doing it is easy. Remembering to do it is what may be hard, so after you watch this video to learn the technique, decide how you want to incorporate this into your daily practices.

  1. Very nice, Christina….I can see using this every day or even several times a day when I need it. My vision at the beginning of the light going up 300 feet was like Darth Vader’s light saber…ha ha…that worked for me! The filling of my heart is always the memory of seeing my first son just after his birth. While the birth of both of my boys was nothing short of miraculous and the love that filled my heart (literally!)…the first time…26 years ago when my son Graham was born was a feeling that I will always cherish….the filling and overflow of love in my heart…a love that is unsurpassed. Great stuff here! Thank you! Namaste, Hilary

  2. Hi Christina,

I meditated about 40 mins before doing this but I still felt different, I can feel the energy in my face & hands, very tingly. I will definitely practice this every morning. Thank u so much for sharing this with no fee (free).
